Mitja Petkovšek(born February 6, 1977 in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian gymnast. Petkovšek competes on the parallel bars, where he is World Champion (2005, 2007), World Cup Finals Champion (2000, 2004), and European Champion (2000, 2007, 2008). Although he has never competed at an Olympics, his total of 12 World Championship, World Cup Finals, and European Championships medals (7 of them Gold), means that he has both more titles at these levels and more medals at these levels than any other gymnast in the history of the sport.[1]
